Early 1974 Original Gibson Les Paul Custom Black Beauty Fretless Wonder w/ Gold hardware. !!! Plays Great, Sounds Great and Feels Great !!! Serial Number 121264. The neck is 24 3/4 inch scale and made from 1 solid piece of mahogany, topped by 22 fret ebony fingerboard w/ pearl block inlays. it has a rounded profile. 1 11/16th nut. Period Correct 70's Gibson Stamped Pat. No pickups Stamped PAT NO 2737842. Original tune-o-matic bridge and tail piece. The multi-ply white binding is in very good condition and has turned a bit creamy. Solid Mahogany Body with hand-carved Maple top. Pot code on pot is 1377412…so it is an early 1974. Also has a small Volute. No Headstock Breaks or crack. no Reset neck. Possible regret some time ago…Excellent Job ! Action is low... Excellent…Plays like butter. professionally set up. kept in smoke free home all its life. plays great no dead spots. Upgraded with a 5 way tone switch…ala ES345 …for almost endless tone variations on the bridge pickup. It is used and does show some wear…dings, scratches and scuffs…all pretty minor…most on the backside and wear on back of neck as to be expected. Comes with HSC. Thinning the herd.
