Beautiful Steinway "B" Grand piano, 1918, 6' 10", restoration by noted rebuilder George Ashikyan, Steinway hammers, new strings. Serial number 188479.Exquisite, refinished striped mahogany. Plays beautifully, gorgeous resonant sound. Verified certificate from Steinway & Sons. Restoration details:ACTION:
Replace all parts, including Whippens, Shanks and Flanges with genuine Steinway Parts. Rebuild Keys, including new Key Bushings, new Back-Checks, new Felt and Buckskin, polish Capstans and buff Keys. Make all necessary repairs to Key-Frame, and replace all Key Frame felts. Rebuild Damper System including Under-Levers, Damper Felts and refinish Damper Heads, Rebush Damper Guide Rail.TRAPWORK: Completely rebuild Trap System, including rebuilding all internal Lyre Box components, refinish Pedals and all Pedal mechanisms. New Felt, Leather and Pedal Bearing surfaces.BELLYWORK: Removal and refinishing of Plate, Repair and refinish Soundboard and Bridges. Replace Pin Block and Restring with Steinway Factory (Mapes) strings.
