This is an original 1959 Gibson GA-6 amp. The tweed is original and has not been touched. The original Jensen P12R, transformer, pots Etc have all been date checked and are 1959. The handle is also original. I have included detailed pictures of these. It has had a couple of caps changed and has a grounded power cord (see detailed pictures). The Gibson logo on the front is a VOS logo that I ordered as the original logo had been missing for years. Now for the tone of this amp. Wow! This thing absolutely screams. It packs 14 watts of warm tube tone that has the sweetest mid range creamy voice you could ask for. Two 6V6, one 5Y3 tube. It easily keeps up with a loud bar band in a club. I personally love the tone of my Les Pauls with slide through this amp. Unbeatable in my opinion. For those of you not familiar with these amps, it is basically the same circuit as a Fender tweed Deluxe at 1/2 to 1/3 the price. I would put this amp up against any Deluxe out there. It is simply just a flat out great amp. On a side note, blues harp with a green bullet sounds absolutely killer through this thing as well. Any questions feel free to ask. Shipping to lower 48 only. Thanks for looking!
