Steelpan, KARLOF ALLEYNE signed, 23” diameter, 16 notes This is one of 2 full size steelpans that I have available. (The other one has 29 notes). This is not one of those mass-produced steepans. It has been made with love and care with holes drilled around the rim for extra resonance. It has a stamped serial number; 30216 In total 16 notes: 8 x outer notes, 7 inner notes and one centre note. It has a rolled top rim and a little surface pitting. Sink depth: 7” Skirt depth: 5 ½” Diameter: 23” I’m sure someone will know a lot more about this pan than me, but this is a fine instrument and ready for someone to love it. I’m offering it a very sensible price. You are very welcome to come and play it to assess the tuning for yourself. As I’m not a panist, I can’t verify the tuning.
