Vintage Altec 458A Preamp Module For Repair (F)This preamp is not functional and will require technical attention. Audio does not pass through the preamp, only some hum and RF noise. One of the original Peerless Electrical transformers has been replaced with a Sowter 9050a. The original cap can has been replaced with a Sprague Atom capacitor.
