This 46-button Stagi Hayden Duet Concertina is in very good condition. It has been fully serviced by Liberty Bellows in Philadelphia and is ready to play. Its mahogany finish and attractive fretwork set it apart from less-expensive concertinas. As a plus, the edges of the adjustable hand straps have been smoothed to allow for hours of truly comfortable playing. The Hayden Duet is conducive to self-learning. Compared to other concertinas, it is considered to have the most simplified button layout. The arrangement makes chords easy to discover and speeds the learning process. Best of all, it produces the same note regardless of the movement of the bellows, unlike more complicated concertinas such as the Anglo, in which one note is produced as the bellows are opened and another as they are closed. Included is its hard carrying case, which is in very good condition except for a small "crunch" as shown in the photo, as well as a fingering chart. Fairly priced at $650.
