Now, here's a cool one. 2000 Fender Stratocaster MIM '62 Re-issue formerly owned/toured by Blues Legend Rocky Athas! An artist of many blues albums as a leader, Rocky has also played in John Mayer's band and with John Mayall. I contacted Rocky about this Strat and he said that he always signs the heel of his necks in case of theft on the road. Rocky also has an original Fiesta Red vintage Strat, so it makes sense that he would have an MIM for the road. What's also interesting is hat the body does not have screw holes for the trem cover on the rear. It has the Mexican standard pickups, but due to some extra holes under the guard, Rocky may have had other pickups or pick guard in there at one time. Reasonably priced with some cool blues history connected to this piece. Restrung and has a great set up for Blues!! Gig Bag. Shipping $60 in the USA.
