Oboe has had two owners who barely played it. I am a saxophone player that wanted to play oboe some. It has a beautiful warm sound and plays easily. I should have bought a cheaper plastic model because this oboe deserves a more advanced musician! It is beautiful and has s nice carry case. I am unsure of the brand but please check out the pictures. There is nothing wrong with this instrument. It has been beautifully cared for.
