The Outlaw signature series (American wood reborn) 14x7 with maple inlay. If you are a serious drummer or collector. The signature outlaw drum series are the drums for you. This centuries old wood Gives a Blast of projction and clarity.Thats in direct relationship with the high rezine content from the slow growth timber Most of witch was in the forest in the 1600s. Once this wood is gone its gone. Specializing in 200-600 year old wood reclaimed from tobacco barns gymnasiums, plantation house and old bridges. First we disassemble the structure checking all boards with Metal detectors. Surface planeing or exfoliating the ancient wood. Then dried in a kiln for weeks. Then and only then start the building project. The American wood reborn series is hand crafted and designed to highlight old nail holes, saw kerfs, spots in the wood that was stained were years of tobacco leafs sat. Or were oil ran down and driped on the floor for years from a mill. On Some applications we leave the original nails in the drums and on some occasions use the original Bolt holes for venting. Our craftsmen are artist that sees with more than there eyes. Each pc of wood is studied to lay out the best possible solution that matchs perfect. Each drum kit is unique and art work. To say your drum kit was a old barn is kinda cool in any ones book. The waiting list for this line is 2-6 months. This ships out when purchased.
