This Classic Akai MPC 3000 midi sampler drum machine is in great condition. All pads, sliders, knobs and outputs were tested and work. Display is a little dim but you can still see (does not go as bright as when first purchased / still very visible). In addition to the machine, this auction includes a power cord; original floppy disks including v3.11 operating system disk + standard library disk; SCSI drive (iomega 250 zip drive) and the original user manual. This legendary AKAI MPC 3000 has been used on noteworthy albums such as Dr. Dre's "The Chronic," and DJ Spinna's "Intergalactic Soul." This MPC in particular has been used on John Legend’s Grammy Award winning, Multi-Platinum "Get Lifted" LP. Used in a smoke-free room--includes sounds used on the "Get Lifted" LP.
