This is the new Multiac Grand Concert 7 SA from Godin. The Multiac is one of many significant contributions Godin has made to the art and craft of guitar building. The basic design of a Multiac is a generously chambered mahogany back piece combined with a thin braced spruce or cedar top like a traditional acoustic would have, but the sound hole has been omitted. The Multiac is designed specifically for the task of being played with amplification. The Multiac Grand Concert 7 is constructed just like the immensely popular Multiac Nylon  SA but with the traditional classical player in mind. The guitar features a 2.36" nut with and a very flat 24" fretboard radius. Also the neck joins the body at the 12th fret. The Multiac GC does feature a nice deep cutaway for access to upper frets. The Grand Concert is the only Multiac that features a cedar top, and this gives the guitar a sweeter mellower tone with a very warm characteristic.
