This is a Japanese made Yamaha which was made for the U.S. market. It was a one owner piano and lived in an ideal Southern California climate. It was played very moderately and was well cared for. It has been regulated to factory specifications and plays on a high level. The action is quick and responsive with medium action weight. The case is in good condition. The instrument is a perfect size for many homes. The little bit of extra length compared to a baby grand makes a big difference in the sound. Yet, the piano can fit easily into most homes. There are many lower line Yamaha pianos on the market coming out of Indonesia. While these pianos are cheap, they don’t compare to the quality of materials and workmanship to this piano.
