This is a rare find amp from a local estate sale. The owner was; THE CHORDETTES: One of Sheboygan's golden treasures were the 4 ladies who won The Arthur Godfrey talent show in NY in 1947 and became one of the world's most beloved singing groups appearing on The Arthur Godfrey Show for many years and then recording on Cadence Records into the 1970's. Who doesn't remember Lollipop, Lollipop and Mr. Sandman. So this amp is period correct and rare. The company only existed a short time before being sold. There is some data on the web, but hard to find. The condition of the amp is really nice for age, as seen in pics. But it cuts in and out for sound and there is some melting wax that burns when amp heats up. Sold it is being sold as is for repair. I believe the repair would be minor, but not my talent. Sorry no returns! I found one of these that sold on the Internet for over $600, so my price is fair for sure. Look at pics. Cheers!
