We use IPPC wood for our crates and Ship Airfreight with full insurance from the time the piano is picked up by the Airfreight carrier until you pick up the piano at your airport. Most International airfreight shipments cost $3,800 to $4,200.Special Sensors are used when shipping Airfreight to insure you Steinway has been stable during all fazes of transport. Also special markings on the IPPC crates insure proper handling.
