Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier 2 Channel (((( Serial #R0264 Reversion D )))) Very Rare!! In The First 500!! Not many of these around anymore. This Dual rectifier was bought and never used. It has one of one chassis and diamond plate chrome one chrome. Normally Black and chrome switching btw the two or all black. Amp was gone through by the builder himself Mike at Mesa who's signature is on the transformer in '92 when he built the amp. ALL new tubes entirely. Mike is very cool and will talk to anyone about this amp if you would like. Contact me and I can set it up. Just over $500 was spent to have the amp totally gone through and re-tubed and serviced being the amp sat for so many year with no one playing it. Amp has all brand new Mesa Boogie tubes with 6L6 power tubes. tubes, even the rectifier tubes are new. Couple of new pots and point to point fixes and she is like the day she was born. Super tight crisp response with deep lows and perfect saturation. I personally like the orange channel on vacuum setting not to pushed more of the Angus Young bluesy tone rounded off with presence on 8 o'clock for the bight and mids about the same. Just and incredibly great classic distortion whether your power chording Ramones to heavier Lamb of God or bringing it backed off for more bluesy style this is truly a versatile amplifier if you spend time to understand what it can do. Peoples idea this is a "Metal" amp only are mistaken. Although it is excellent for Metal it's characteristics are far more than just that. It has many tones to work with it you work with it. Amp sound unbelievable. I've owned several 2 channels and this one is the best sounding distortion heavy bottom end crisp mids just really a nice tone. I'm buying a house that is the only reason I'm thinking of selling it. If it goes off eBay it's because I changed my mind. I'm having a very hard time with this one. Item will be double boxed and tubes taken out of their seats in bubble wrap and put back in cavity with foot switch controller. This will be done under my supervision by a professional packaging facility that I've had so my amps in the past with excellent results from comments back from other buyer: "Amp showed up in a strong double box with packing peanuts surrounding the other box..Thanks!!
