This Roland TR-606's Quicksilver midi mod was done professionally by Social Entropy. Everything on the TR-606 fully functional. John K at Social Entropy actually gave a clean bill of health after upgrading the QS606 CPU. Packaged with the TR-606 is the original gig bag, power supply, original CPU in the Quicksilver box, and two midi dongles. This drum machine's beautiful all analog circuitry makes some amazing sounds especially the hi-hats which can't be topped. There are two outputs for the toms which can trigger other synthesizers. Here are the added functionality of the QS TR-606:Adds MIDI IN/OUT jacks and USB over midi port through the battery compartment, with the original Tom trigger outs and Din Sync this is an amazing hub to clock/sync/or drive other gear.Adds flash drive, no batteries required for memory storage as well as Sysex Dump and expanded patterns with 32 total (almost 64 if you consider that you can double patterns Adds 7 swing/groove parameters, randomize instrument and pattern features, copy and paste.With Ableton drum racks this really shines as you can use it to trigger drum sounds already stored in racks or a drum module and utilize the 606's great sequencer.Great for live performance use as you can change patterns on the fly...individual mutes/roll functions etc. Very easy to use. Guaranteed to work excellent.
