Breathtaking 2016 Sunrise Tea Burst 1958 Reissue VOS Mint and Unplayed!The top on this one is absolutely stunning! The perfect blend of flame and grain. Extraordinary movement, depending on the light and angle. Very vintage looking. Gibson has returned to it's glory days with the new 2016 Custom Shop Historic Reissues. While these have the upgraded 2014 Historic specs, the top on this one is simply exceptional. And the Sunrise Tea Burst VOS finish on this one really captures the vintage look. They are incredible guitars and this one is over the top. Not only is it a visual piece of art, it's a amazing player as well!Unfortunately, word is getting around quickly that the highly figured R8's we've been enjoying recently are going away this year, as we speak. Get a great one now before you end up having to pay at least a couple grand more for an R9 to get this top.Sonically they are phenomenal! Highs ring like a bell as they should with a very vintage, woody tone. Tremendous mids and low end clarity. And this one is in like new, unplayed condition. Very lightly aged by Gibson master craftsmen using the VOS process.
