Pristine '62 American Reissue Strat Neck is beautiful Dark Rosewood (almost Brazilian like) (take it outside in sun, you may be surprised!) no Marks, Frets have No wear as this was played for about 5 hours total in my Studio over 18 years. I was fortunate to have been one of Fender's top Salesman and was allowed to pick this out at the factory. I was looking for as close a replacement for my Original '62 Strat which was stolen. As I became more of an engineer then player, this was put in storage an forgotten about for 15 years. She was rediscovered and made a few brief studio appearances with some great artist. (Roger Filgate, Marc Wager) to name a few. There are no marks or buckle rash on back or neck, The Neck and the Candy Apple finish was the reason I picked this one. (Just like my '62). Case is mint no tears or dingsAlnico PU's haved aged nicely. Sounds amazing!Includes all original Case CandyOriginal bar with era correct plastic tip 5-way switch Trem Springs Vintage StrapHang tags. Just set up by Luthier Tommy D. who also took the pictures of neck heel, electronics, etc. 3-Way switch still installed (Like my original)Plays and sounds amazing. Original Everything as it came from factory I doubt you will find a nicer version of this guitar at this age anywhere. She is no doubt a 9.9 out of 10. Stored in climate controlled environment for 18 yrs.If economic bad times had not hit me, I would not be selling her.
