Ugly Amps, 18/20 watt Amplifier very clean condition. One of the earlier "Hand Wired" custom built amps, made in 2006 and the tone is off the charts... 2 EL84 power tubes and 3 12AX7's. Amp has 4, 8 or 16 ohm speaker hook up. One of the best amps I have had in 40 yrs of playing.    I have had just about every 18 watt amp to include - Retro King, Marshall, Bacino, Brown Note, Reeves, Carmen Ghia, Reinhardt, Ceriatone, Block Head to mention a few. This is a very healthy 18 watts and get loud if needed. But the Ugly separates itself from the others with better headroom on the clean tones that are big and round in the Normal Channel. The bright channel offers a bit more of a midrange tone and Vox like chime. With both channels used together (Y-Cable Included) it sings with increased crunch/distortion with the twist of the guitar volume knob. The hand wired version is more toneful, open, pure and articulate sounding. In my opinion it has it's own character that's has flavors of some Fender Blackface Amps, some Marshall and some Vox depending on how you use the channels and tone controls.. Versatile amp too by having the 2 different channels (Normal & Bright and a single tone control) but very easy to dial in great tones in such a simple design.
