For sale is a truly awesome acoustic bass from the magicians of tone over at Martin. This bass, the model BCPA4, is a truly fantastic sounding acoustic bass (which is an almost impossibly rare sentiment from us) that allows you a great unplugged acoustic tone but is also equipped with a great Fishman pickup and F-1 built in preamp, giving you incredible versatility from this masterfully built instrument. Tonally it is warm and robust when played acoustically with a surprising amount of projection that makes this an actually functional acoustic bass, as most are never truly loud enough with other instruments. The pickup reflects the warm natural tone of the bass beautifully. Cosmetically this instrument is in great condition with close to no signs of wear, not even buckle rash. Included with this instrument is the original hardshell case. If you've ever wanted an acoustic bass that was truly functional and not just a gimmick you'd be incredibly hard pressed to find something better than this!
