The Buffet Crampon RC Clarinet is By Far the best alternative to the classic Buffet Crampon R13! - Some might say its better with a sweeter, rounder tone that is unmistakable.
Made from mature Grenadilla wood, naturally seasoned, this clarinet was made at a time when quality really meant something. This model clarinet is arguably one of the best clarinets Buffet ever made.This clarinet belonged to an established and full time professional player and was regularly and professionally maintained. It has been played in countless public performances.This clarinet was fully overhauled less than eighteen months ago and so required nothing more than a full service.This clarinet has been inspected and test played independently (something I always undertake prior to selling any clarinet) and there are no issues whatsoever. The wood has no splits or repairs. The key work has some signs of wear as you might expect, but overall, I would say that the plating is good.
There are lots of Clarinets for sale on Ebay, but I doubt many of these have been as carefully checked over and prepared for sale as this one has - Nightmares include: Missing Cork, Bent keys, Missing or Worn pads, Keys NOT Regulated, Keys giving Double Action, Splits, Cracks, Missing parts, Joint wobble etc etc etc.
If you are looking to buy a professional level instrument, why would you buy one that has not been work shop prepared - Its like buying a car without an MOT!

I have been playing and repairing clarinets for 35 years and I can tell you that like anything mechanical, a clarinet requires regular service, inspection and adjustment. I have fully serviced and adjusted this clarinet to a very high standard and I have total trust and confidence in it.
This clarinet is performance and exam ready.
All corks, pads, springs etc have been adjusted and replaced where necessary. I would never sell a clarinet that has not been thoroughly checked, and double checked.
The case is in Excellent clean condition with minimal signs of wear and again, this is probably the sexiest clarinet case ever produced, and is a real eye catcher at rehearsals. Of course, if you want the standard Buffet case that came with the clarinet, let me know and I'll send that one instead. Also included in the price (FOR BUY IT NOW ONLY) are any adjustments for the first 12 months should the clarinet require it (Buyer pays postage) - I am also available to speak with you (or meet if you if you are fairly local) if your clarinet gets damaged or doesn't play as it should - I have kept in contact with many previous buyers, some of whom have become personal friends and whose professional careers have really blossomed. It all started with one of my clarinets and the reassurance that comes from having easy access to a friendly repairer.
