I AM SELLING A FANTASTIC VINTAGE BASS :1972 FENDER USA' JAZZ BASS'SUNBURST FINISHROSEWOOD FINGERBOARD WITH BLOCK INLAYS100% ORIGINAL & UNCHANGED CONDITIONSERIAL NUMBER # 373544NECK DATE NOVEMBER 1972This is a great sounding instrument with awesome toneIt features a gentle natural patina and genuine wear and tearSuperb condition and just the right ' vintage vibe' , not to worn , not to ' mint'let me describe it in full :to the best of my knowledge all parts are correct and original to the bass here goes !neck date November 1972marked ' 7 ' for jazz bassand very rare 'A' width neckSerial number # 373544correct un-soldered pots and output jackpot codes show 39th week of 1972correct pickups and wiring all untouchedsunburst body with correct position router holes and neck pocket fully stamped by: Torres and ChambersNeck is stamped for date and stamped on back by : Armenta'thick' headstock with correct fender tunerscorrect top nutedge bound rosewood fingerboard with block inlayscorrect finish to back of neck / headstockno overspray / no refin / no changes of any kind 100% untouched original condition the sunburst finish is also 100% correct and originalcorrect bridge and saddles with elongated G screwcorrect F stamped bridge cover with remnants of the foam mute just visable and the adonising wire spot visable , red pen mark matches control platethe control plate / pots / wiring / pickups / output are all 100% originalno changes / never unsolderedthe pot codes are visable and correct for sept/oct 1972neck plate is correct and features the black plastic under platelast of the four bolt necks the hard case is the ' first year' transitional registered logo from early 1973the case is original and correct to the bass the finish is lovelynatural wear to the edgesnatural patinathere is a tiny bit of binding missing on top of neck from wear the owner placed his thumb..the finger rest is missing , the front pickup chrome cover is missingother than this everything looks untouched and as you would wish to find it the frets are quite ' low' but still ok and they play welli would never choose to re-fret it or change anything to effect the originalitythe neck is a super comfey and slim profilethe truss rod is in superb condition and works wellthe truss rod is NOT broken or pushed in or worn outthe pick guard and control knobs are all original and working well again NO issues ** just about the most honest unchanged example you could hope to find **BUYER WILL BE DELIGHTED
