Up for auction is a pretty nice King Liberty. This is the 2B model from 1955. Original purple lined case is fully functional. All latches work correctly. The only real issue with the case is the handle. I had to cobble it a bit. There is one post that is missing .... please look at the pics. Original mouthpiece. Nice slide, only a little crustiness around the spitter. I debated on removing the spring and buffing that out, but I didn't want to break a good working spring. The worst is.... the spot of lacquer missing at the bell rim. I just couldn't bear to leave that grossed up spot there. Something got spilled on it, and left. So I polished it up. Trust me... it will re-patina later. Give it some time. The rest of the horn is pretty decent. A couple of small spots near the brace, check out the pix. No reserve.
