NO WORRIES about the dreaded runaway capstan motor failure common to the 238 with this one...already fixed and in the BEST way! And as stated above, this 238 is FULLY functional; every control and feature functions as it should; transport functions are crisp and responsive, and audio records and plays back from each of the 8 tracks beautifully!As seen in the listing pictures, it is in very clean good condition...there are some scratches on the top of the faceplate as shown in one picture...otherwise it looks great!!Please ask any questions prior to committing to purchase. Though the condition is as described above, this is a vintage machine and is therefore sold as-is, no returns.
