This is an outstanding mic in the spirit of the Telefunken 251E. I've owned the real thing and two different versions of the 22-251. This mic is an awesome sonic representation of a well-maintained 251E (they all sound different!). They're great on vocals, excellent on acoustic guitars, acoustic piano, drums, amps etc. - clean sweet top end, clear open midrange and nice round low end.I bought this one for a client who's voice really sounds great with this mic. Unfortunately his album project fell through. Hate to sell it - but I'll buy another down the line. This month -baby needs shoes.
This is a dealer demo in PERFECT condition - used for one vocal session. It comes with full factory warranty and all original packing materials.The microphone kit comes as a complete system including: 22 251 Microphone in a Wood Box, MX-56 Power Supply, New-style 8-Pin Screw on Cable Assembly, and a Shock Mount all packed in a Flight Case.
