The neck is African mahogany with an ebony fingerboard. The D suffix indicates a slightly deeper body than other APX guitars: the body depth is 90mm (neck side), 100mm (bridge side) with a 12mm round back bulge. It has a unique asymetrical oval shape soundhole with an asymetrical bridge. The nut and saddle are made from urea. Machine  heads are gold coloured.  Scale length is 25-5/8" (651mm) and fingerboard width    1-11/16" (43mm). The APX20D is a stereo model with multiple bridge sensors that independently pick up separate strings (2 way Piezo Pickups: Bridge + Internal). The electronics include a customised I.C. preamp and battery check LED with volume, treble, bass and mix controls
These instruments have become increasingly hard to come by, and have almost doubled in value over the last couple of years.
