Here is a very early Altec 436 tube compressor from the early to mid 50s in super nice condition. It is one of the original type with the gray face panel and the meter off to the side, it is hand wired and uses higher grade components which includes a Peerless S 217D output transformer!. It's in really nice condition because it's been in dry storage for the last 20 years, it was fully working before being stored and it powers up with no problems but that is the only testing I have done on it. I would have the caps checked just to make sure it's all 100% but all transformers are tested and working. I'm going to include a PDF for converting the 436 to a EMI RS 124, the PDF is from 1991 and has complete instructions including parts list and schematics, I will also include a copy of the original 436 manual.
