Starting with the clear sound of the Blue Bottle Rocket Stage mic body, this package gives you 4 different condenser capsules to choose from: B3 - In the tradition of the U89 sound: clean mids and neutral top end, great for harsh vocalists or work-horse studio duty. This capsule stacks well across multiple tracks in a mix!
B6 - Modeled after the C12 capsule, this bottle cap has a modern LDC sound great for vocals, pianos, drum overheads, and other acoustic instruments. 
B7 - The mid-focused sound of a U47 plus a touch of high end presence, this bottle cap sounds great on female vocals, guitar cabs and drum rooms, helping lend a little extra body to your source. 
B8 - the all-around bottle cap features strong mids that help your source cut through the mix, good on any instrument, especially acoustic guitars! The listing includes custom-molded SKB case and shock mount. You'll notice that I swopped the B0 capsule that normally ships with this package for a B3 after some in-depth capsule shoot-outs. For me, replacing the brightest capsule with a more neutral capsule really completes the package and leaves me confident I will be able to use the mic in any recording situation. If I need a bright modern vocal sound, I reach for the B6 or B8--for a warmer sound the B7 and on female vocals or a harsher male vocal, the B3 or B7.
