Ketron Solton TS4; ONE MAN BAND... ANALOGUE Midi Guitar Rack Unit, SSM & Simmons
Estimated price for orientation: 1 285 $
Category: Samplers and Sequencers
Class:
Description Brand: SOLTON KETRON Country//Region of Manufacture: Italy
THIS IS MY COMPLETE RIG WITH FLIGHT CASE AND RARE PROPRIETARY POWER SUPPLY; the rack version of the Programmer 24S and optimized for the midi guitars of that era, circa 1990's. Of course you can just use a midi keyboard. It is one of the few units that works well with an older midi guitar and masks their drawbacks, plug in the regular guitar output also. This Top Session FOUR lights up and plays, with no noticeable problems, noise or hum etc, however it was last serviced about six years ago and little used since; hence sale. JAM PACKED WITH DIGITALLY CONTROLLED ANALOGUE CIRCUITRY, SSM chips and SIMMONS style Eproms with individual outputs, so it sounds fantastic... if only the modern MS4 sounded this real. The DCO's are SGS M112, SSM 2044 main voicing, Curtis CEM 3350 drum voicing and BBD chorus/ reverb; also the TS4 is a much better build RACK UNIT. All items shown are included with a complete set of manuals in Eng/Ger/It with xtras on CD; the ROM CARDS are C&W and Revival. The Pedal Unit I added so it does not have a case; the last pedals I sold for $700 alone. Marcus Mumford and crew have shown the true potential of busking and moved on, so must I. In remarkable condition but for the rack ears; I will pack well; this is vintage gear so ASIS. Time permitting I will add a video of the features... ENJOY. Corporate Disclaimer... Here I will be introducing a revolutionary hybrid sound synthesizer with a cool real time, human interface. Ever wondered if there was actually something completely different out there; initially developed in the 70's, that has continued development, fully documented, in readiness for the modern world? One that several notable companies & individuals have tried to bury. There will be a low key, but prestigious premier at a Synth DIY show in Europe, coupled with an international funding campaign. An introductory unit that may be used in a modular format, or stand alone and at a price that everyone will say; I WANT ONE. Initially this will be the only point of reference outside the campaign and where you will hear of any notifications or release information. So please be patience, this has been a long time in the making... I sincerely want to put a Colourbox in your hands. Expressions of interest are welcome, if just a polite note to request inclusion on the mailing list. Before you ask; the unit featured on my profile page, is a registered design, beta unit from 1990, A lot has changed since then; but not the FUNdamental principle; samples will be available in due course. THANK YOU
