Whether you are looking to play 3 finger style or clawhammer, the Deering Goodtime banjo is going to get you on your way to accomplishing your goal quickly. This is the brand new Artisan Goodtime model which Deering has introduced as the upgrade to the standard Goodtime series. The Artisan series banjos feature planetary tuners, the"Midnight Maple" fingerboard, and factory installed railroad spikes at frets 7,9,&10. A vintage vibe dark stain on neck and and laser logo on the peghead. As with all Goodtimes, the 3-ply violin maple rim and high quality nickel-plated hardware, are included with frosted remo head. We asked for the custom scoop and no knot tailpiece to be added from the factory as well. This USA made banjo is perfect for all players. We also offer free install on 5th string spikes on all our new banjos. We recommend starting with the A and B position spikes which are at the 7th and 9th fret. We cannot promise same day or next business day shipping on banjos with spike installs.
