Serviced 1965 Valco made Airline Deluxe Professional model 62-9017a 2x12 tube guitar combo amp !
This listing is for an Airline DeLuxe Professional Guitar amp model # 62-9017A. According to the speaker code it would be a 1965. This would have been, I believe Airline's top-of-the-line model for 65. The amp has just been fully serviced. The service included a new 3 prong power cord, Most of the Electrolytic capacitors were just replaced with high quality JJ electrolytics, A few resistors were replaced, The Power tubes were replaced with a new set of Sovetek 5881/6L6 power tubes, The rectifier tubes were replaced with a NOS set of Black plate Hit-ray 5U4GB tubes, All the 12ax7 tubes are new JJ 12ax7. The phase splitter is a NOS vintage Raytheon 6DR7 and the 6EU7 is a vintage RCA .The amp is in perfect working order. All other parts are original and working great. The amp features Reverb and Tremolo which both work well.
The original Jensen speakers sound great and really compliment the amp.
The amplifier features all the original transformers.
Cosmetically the amp is in good used condition for the age. It shows some corrosion to the metal parts and chrome. the tolex also shows normal wear with some nicks and small tears. ( Please see pictures for details as a picture says 1000 words)
