1930 Martin Mandolin This is a 1930 Martin Mandolin. As you can see in the pictures, it has some scratches and dings and is more of player's instrument. Still, it is in great shape for such an old instrument. Please examine the pictures for what I mean, and although not everything shows up in pictures, the issues are only cosmetic. There are no structural issues whatsoever and it plays well up and down the fretboard. It has an ebony fretboard and sounds beautiful—a full, rich-bodied instrument. When I bought it, I took it to the Twelfth Fret in Toronto and they told me I had done very well—“one of the good ones,” the tech called it. It comes with a softer-shell old non-original case which I modified to fit the instrument and a strap I made. This thing doesn’t get enough playing and so I am selling it on.I pack very conscientiously! I don't know what potentially lunatic charge ebay is showing you right now for the shipping, but I will work with you to make the shipping as cheap and as safe as we can make it and charge you only what I pay.
