You are bidding on a vintage AKG C414 EB microphone with the original CK12 "brass ring" capsule. Its serial number is 1425. Later 414EBs had a white nylon ring around the capsule. The microphone is in excellent condition, as you can see in the pictures. I have just tested it, and it is working perfectly as it always has. The microphone came from a major European broadcaster (you may be able to faintly see the name on the side of the microphone in the pictures) and was a spare, and I suspect it was never used until I acquired it in 2004. Since then, it has only been used by me in my smoke free professional studio. You can see that the microphone has been handled with great care, as the grills and microphone body are not dented or scratched. Please ask any questions before bidding.
