This listing is for a Yamaha YAS-52 intermediate alto saxophone. Serial # 007086A. The listing includes the instrument, original case and accessories. This model has been discontinued.The instrument is playable, but we have not done any work to it. We recommend that it be serviced by your technician of choice.The instrument is intact, well taken care of. Lacquer is mostly intact, minor scratches throughout with a few more in concentrated areas. Most of the lacquer wear/scratches are on the palm keys, left side guard, and the bottom bell and flare area.The instrument has lacquer wear and dents throughout. Larger dents are under the thumb rest, around the Eb key guard and around the bell turn, neck and along the bell.
The lyre screw and E finger pearl is missing. Some wear on the strap ring, but it's solid. The case is intact and fully functional with wear from age. Accessories included are: pad savers, reed guards, metronome, reed cutting tool, strap, Russeau 4R mouthpiece, Selmer metal ligature, plastic cap and fabric ligature.You can see the above pictures and many more at the following Flickr link:
