Straight from our brass (and silver) instrument repair shop, our USED horns are brought back to life...All major dents are removed, joints re-soldered (if needed), patches repaired (if necessary) and the slides reworked.  Our horns may be buffed, but all are hand polished to a good shine and are in good playable condition.  We are proud to offer this refurbished instrument for sale. We have tried to describe it as it is, and are happy to answer any questions asked.  #/2016Up for sale is a 1939-1940 King 2B Liberty Tenor Trombone--engraved is 'King 2B Liberty Model, Made by the H.N. White Co, Cleveland Ohio'.  The serial is #230xxx.  It is made from yellow brass and solid nickel with 'crystal silver' slides. This instrument is a great player; has great intonation and a lot of power and good tone. This trombone has good compression, and the slide action is good, but needs breaking in after cleaning and honing.  There is light pitting throughout the bell flare and some minor scratching and minor pitting at the grips.  The slide stockings are in very good condition and show very minimal wear.  This instrument is not lacquered; therefore, this instrument may have to be polished periodically (we recommend using Weiman METAL Polish).  This instrument comes with a mouthpiece and used case.  The dual slide bore is .481/.491 and the bell is 7.25".  The 2B Liberty is one of the best jazz lead horns.  Thanks for looking and check out our other items!775-301-6289Please note:  our usual shipping days are on Monday and/or Tuesday, but may be able to arrange shipping on other days if possible.  We try to accommodate if we can...!  **Note-if choosing Fed Ex shipping, they will not ship to a PO Box.
