| You are bidding on a Soundcraftsmen A5002 class H professional power amplifier. The A5002 was introduced in 1982 and was a new incarnation of the MA5002, only with an updated LED meter display. The A5002 incorporates innovative proprietary technology, including Class H Vari-Proportional circuitry, Auto Crowbar protection circuit for output protection without current limiting, and has an Auto-Buffer circuit for continuous operation into 2 ohms. All of this contributes to the amps phenomenal performance and ability to deliver an impressive 250 watts per channel RMS into 8 Ohms and 375 watts per channel RMS into 4 ohms. Total Harmonic Distortion is less than 0.09% with a signal-to-noise ratio greater than 105dB. There are two speaker outputs, with A,B or A+B available. Dimensions are 19" W x 14 1/2" D x 7" H. Unit was recently serviced, and completely gone through/ checked over by Paul at Pro Digital Inc. in Broomall, PA. They are one of the best repair shops in the area, and have been in business for over 20 years! The A5002 is widely considered the best power amplifier Soundcraftsmen ever made, and it's the last exceptional power amplifier manufactured in the USA. It has never been rack mounted, hence the mounting holes on the face plate are perfect. It's in like-new condition, with no scratches or blemishes.
