You are looking at a Fender Stratacaster Korina Strat 6 String Electric Guitar w/ Soft shell Case!!! Condition: This Paul Beard Gold Tone is in excellent condition. The only really wear to speak of is on the Gold Tone case that comes with the guitar. The case is peeling back a little at the base but this wear is only cosmetic and does not affect the cases ability to protect the guitar while traveling or in storage. The guitar itself has very little wear on it. A few light marks here and there that have come from playing out on the road but these marks are cosmetically and are barely noticeable. Background: Designed by legendary resophonic instrument maker Paul Beard, these signature model guitars are handmade and provide unmatched tone. The “open” Beard soundwell body design uses genuine USA-made Beard cones and spiders. All Paul Beard models include a new coverplate system. Previously, in order to adjust string action, break angle, string spacing or to replace the saddle, it was necessary to detach the strings and remove the entire coverplate. The new Gold Tone/Beard resonator coverplate design with removable palm rest is a revolutionary concept for making fine adjusments easier and more efficient. The Neck is mahagony and the finger board is rosewood with unique vintage style inlays, the resonator is made of USA Beard Cone , Spun Aluminum and USA made Beard spider Maple soundwell.
