Description
National Dynamic Consolette Lap Steel Guitar with Legs & OHSC.
Circa 1968.
Classic National sound. Freddie Roulette comes to mind. Steinar Gregertsen, (a Norsk slide artist lost to us, but whose recordings are well worth the listen): It was the hottest lap steel I've ever had, and the tone is fat and huge, I think Lindley once described the sound of Dynamics as "concentrated rock'n'roll tone" or something like that.
Can sing, wail, growl or play Country & Hawaiian.
Pickup designer Ken Calvet said, A really big sounding pickup. Single coil tone with focus yet a little knarley around the edges. Very much like a P90 type pickup but with a much bigger personality.
Nice to find one with (adjustable) legs. Sling a guitar and play 2 different guitars at once like Steve Howe or David Gilmour or while sitting comfortably.
Very cool art deco design in Fine Condition. Plays and Sounds Great. *Please see our other listings and store for many other Vintage Lap Steel Guitars and Amplifiers. We currently have Alamos, Audio-vox, Bronsons, Dickersons, Dobros, Fenders, Gibsons, Harmonys, Kays, Maestros, Magnatones, McKinney, Nationals, Oahus, Rickenbachers, Sho Bud, Supertones, Supros, and White Lap Steels.* *We also accept Cashier's Checks, Personal checks (have to clear) and Bank Transfers. Please contact for information.*
