This is a vintage Meyer Bari Sax hard rubber mouthpiece. Engraved below the brand is "Made in USA" and there is a double line etched in the shank. Below the table is printed "Medium Chamber." 5M Meyer Lapped Facing is printed on the table. The tip measures about 226 mm using a Morgan gauge. Included with this mouthpiece is a Rovner ligature and cap.This mouthpiece is old and has been played and owned by a retired professional musician. There are cosmetic marks in the ligature area which match up with the ligature stitching. There is also a teeth mark indentation. The table and rails and tip look good. A Saxophone Museum entry mentions this mouthpiece as having an incredible feel and great response.
