CUSTOM VACUUM TUBE MICROPHONEThis is a prototype build.
The circuit has an interesting lineage:
Originally, this circuit was Neumann M49,
then Royer designed his famous DIY tube mic circuit off of that design,
then we sat with David's design and implemented some more circuit changes.
This is a fantastic sounding mic.
Tested briefly on fiddle and vocals: excellent.
High end coupling cap, NOS JAN 5840 tube, custom K47 style capsule,
custom sourced BV series repro tran, all hand-made P-t-P.
