This is a tenor F attachment Bach Omega that is in excellent conditions, even if it has some signs of wearing and few dings, nothings affects the sound and performance of it. The slide works smoothly; compression is excellent with no leaky tubes or spit valve. The inner stockings are clean and free of wear to the plating.
The F-valve has excellent compression and blows freely when air is moving through the open wrap system. Bach knew what they were doing when they designed this valve with improved lever throw distance and improved response compared to the conventional valve system.The finish is about 95% with a few scrapes here and there. There are a few small dings and repairs to be noted but nothing serious enough to affect the tone quality. The engraving is crisp and clear with no sign of buffing. Typical signs of use show as expected on a used musical instrument.
