I bought this Brand new from Amazon, sealed in plastic. I kept it on the shelf in my non smoking home since last year or so. It was recently opened for thorough testing to make sure a buyer gets a fully operational system. I am only selling it because I just do not have the time to build the elaborate high end studio I always wanted. It pains me to let it go and to be frank, if it does not sell, I will eventually bve able to proceed with my original plan, so keeping it appeals to me as much, if not more, than selling it. The pacvkage includes the konnekt 48 interface, the remote, and even bought the preferred SIIG PCIe firewire controller that is said to be the finest and most stable controller on the market for all Firewire Audio Interfaces. I might want to hold on to this Interface and related hardware so if anyone really wants it, they may have to act fast. They are getting harder to find NEW like this and it truly is an incredible unit. Since it's new, everything is so fresh. I downloaded the latest drivers and software from the TC Electronics website and things are rock steady and stable. I have recorded a few tracks after my bandmate adjusted a few things and it was amazing. Highly professional. I will likely regret if it sells. I will not likely find another brand new one and if I do, it will probably cost alot moreOK, I have to mention, I am not a TC Electronics Dealer, & I am not a store. I am just an enthusiast. I sell off things I buy to recover some of my investment but I do not make profit on Ebay. I must apologize for the following disclaimer. All honest buyers do not deserve to endure being patronized with excessive disclaimers or policies but after a few situations where Ebay has been very one sided with their so called  buyer/seller protection policy, some buyers have gotten away with scams. This audio interface was bought from Amazon brand new and I never got around to setting up my own studio. I know this interface well from using one at the studio of a band member I play with. It's probably one of the highest quality recording systems available at the price point it sold at when it cost over $1100 in my opinion. But the early days when it was first released were plagued with unstable drivers and not many people knew enough about how to properly use/configure everything. For the best results, you need to know alot more than installing computer hardware. You need to understand audio-interfaces and how to configure your computer for the best possible results. Not to mention use a computer that exceeds minimum requirements. You don't want to just make it by the skin of your teeth with hardware but luckily, most computers today are more than adequate. The absolute best information I've found that defines much of the terminology when working with a computer and audio-interface is found on the website of Presonus. They have an article that literally spells out everything so well that it brings to light all of the important factors that you just need to know. It's a brilliant article. I cannot list the link here due to Ebay restrictions which is pitiful but we have to accept their paranoia as it is how they want to make sure they get paid their commission. Ebay goes to great lengths to scrutinize things like sharing links but will pretty much do nothing to protect a seller when buyers return an item that does not even have the same serial number as the one shipped. Just know that  I'll help a buyer any way I can. A respectable buyer deserves a respectable sale from an honest seller and I'm all for that, but, where ebay does not want to protect a seller, I must find a way to. I photograph very detailed pics of everything including SERIAL NUMBERS, SCRATCHES ON SCREWS AS WELL AS SCREW POSITIONS!There seems to be an epidemic with buyers who like to swap out known faulty pre-owned units with a newly purchased working one. To avoid being stuck with their faulty unit, a scam artist will try to claim a seller sent them a faulty one. Scammers will go as far as removing internal components and making it look authentic. Not going to happen with anything I sell. Ebay might not support sellers the way they should but I also know how to properly execute theft by deception and fraud complaints in any jurisdiction across the United States and can easily make sure the complaint gets answered even if I am on the other side of the country. I won't allow anyone to knowingly commit fraud without answering a legal complaint.
