This is a fabulous horn that I purchased from the UK at the beginning of my college career (Music Ed/Euph Performance). My reason for selling this horn is because I've simply upgraded to something I like better. After looking up the serial number this horn was built somewhere around 1985 which is amazing considering its condition. The lefreque plate shown is not included and the horn will need some new valve dampeners as well as the second valve guide replaced since it is a little wobbly.
It is in silver plate and features an 11in bell with all slides move freely as they should and all of the valves move as they should with no problem. It does have a few dings here and there as well as normal wear and tear but nothing major except for a small bent with the bell due to a faulty gig bag. The bell was repaired and it is hardly noticeable that there was even any bend. There is a little bit of wear with the silver plating with the biggest instance being depicted near the right hand bar of the valve section. The horn plays well and served me well in the student division of the International Leonard Falcone Tuba Euphonium Competition where I earned the bronze medal.
