GRETSCH MODEL NO 4157 ROUND BADGE PALE GOLD SPARKLE 14 x 5 SNARE DRUM 60s A rare American classic in exceptional condition for its age complete in its own period Gretsch case. 8 lug 6 ply shell with key holder, key, silver interior and original label. Internally very clean and the wrap is exceptionally bright with no shrinkage at the seam. Never abused. All original hardware; rods, damper/tone control, microsensitive snare mechanism adjustable butt and rims. There is very minor pinpoint pitting to the throw and some minor wear to the lugs - to be expected of a drum of this age and nothing serious. The rims are excellent. There is no rust or missing chrome. Original period wires that are still straight. Brand new Aquarian batter and unbranded resonant . THAT GREAT GRETSCH SOUND! Please look carefully at the pictures.
