Upgraded /Modified 2001 Gibson Les Paul Standard. In Excellent Condition! I had the original electronics replaced with a premium, pre-wired 50's tone kit from Tone Man Guitar with PIO K40Y-9 tone caps and Bourne pots, which I believe to last longer and have a much better taper than CTS - no haters please ;-).I also had the original neck 498T (7.81 Ohms) & bridge 500R (13.56 Ohms) pickups replaced with Gibson '57 Classic Plus' in both bridge and neck positions. The original electronics & pickups are included with purchase. The original pickups were just too hot and bright for my taste. Altogether $350 in upgrades.The body is in Excellent condition as mentioned. Beautiful Tobacco Burst finish with a sweet flame top. They don't put wood like this on LP Standards anymore! The back is the original clear finish; not black or that funky red, so you can actually see and appreciate the beautiful grain of the mahogany. No buckle rash at all. It has a small chip in the back of the headstock . Comes with the original Gibson hard case which is a little worn on the outside but that's what makes it cool....also comes with the original pick guard which has never been mounted. I am a collector not a player. So this has been played very little. No strum marks or buckle rash . This is a clean, guitar and it does sound awesome. Great vintage vibe, sustains for days.
