Legnica Modern Upright Piano with a Polished Mahogany Case C.2000 A Superb Legnica modern upright piano made in Poland circa 2000. High gloss polished mahogany case in pristine condition, full overstrung iron frame with underdamped action, premium quality German made Abel hammers, 88 note perfect keyboard, soft, practice and sustain pedals, folding music rest, grand style lid prop for extra volume, brass castor wheels for ease of movement, smooth touch and excellent tone, well maintained and regularly tuned by one carful owner since new, tuned to concert pitch A440 September 2016. A high quality instrument for all standards of play. The Legnica (formerly Leignitz, West Germany) piano factory was producing 5,000 hand built pianos a year at their peak in the early 1990s and were renowned for their craftsmanship and use of traditional materials.
