Up for auction is an amazing Marshall 1959 Super Lead Plexi MKII 100 Watt Tube Amplifier Head with professionally installed master volume that allows massive tones at volumes from whisper quite to earthquake loud with the twist of a knob.  These amps are legendary for their detailed articulate tone that can only be achieved by the clean circuit and heavy metal used throughout.  You've heard them on countless recordings and famous tones of the pros.  Add your tube screamer or other favorite pedals and be blown away by this pro gear!   This one has a few dings and tears from use, but never abused, still looks great, and has been gone through top to bottom by a pro technician.  The power transformer and choke are Dagnall.  The output transformer is a Mercury Magnetics.  A brand new set of Electro-Harmonix El34 handle the power tube section, while Sovteks reside in the preamp.  Truly awesome and professional amp throughout.   NOTE: the master volume resides in hole 4 of the input section, allowing for stock jumpered use of the jacks for sonic versatility.  If desired, one can easily remove the master (3 wires) and place the stock jack back into position.  It is still wired into the circuit and tucked away inside.  However, once you hear how good it works you'll want to keep it.  These things are ear bleed loud without a MV!  Also, the master volume pot is sonically transparent when at full tilt, so it's as if it's not there all the way up.  You get the best of both worlds!   Good luck and enjoy!
