You are looking at a Yamaha YCR-6635 Maestro Bb Cornet. This instrument is a pro level instrument and after the Besson Soveriegn is probably the most popular cornet used in brass banding today, This model and now been replaced by the YCR-8330 Xeno/Neo which means 2nd hand examples of this instrument offer great value for money on the 2nd hand market selling for under the £1000 mark. Just come in this is a 1 owner instrument (owned by a Championship brass band but no longer required) is a double trigger Yamaha YCR-6335 Bb cornet. Has just been serviced, all slides/triggers/valves work as they should with no corrosion on the valves. A little bruising on the shepherds crook bend otherwise the instrument is dent free, there is quite a bit of lacquer wear on the instrument however it plays great and is supplied in its original Yamaha case. The instrument has been well looked after and is fully serviced, however cosmetically the lacquer is quite worn, however the instrument could be easily re-lacquered or silver re-plated by the new owner if required which would bring the instrument back to as new condition (in the UK re-lacquering can be done from £150 upwards depending on the finish and quality of finish required) Priced to sell at a bargain trade price of just £495-00
