Modern Design High Leverage Accelerated Action with components CNC machined in the New York Factory Action Department. Comes with matching S&S Artist Bench Located in the La Quinta, CA. completely prepped and ready for serious Concert or Recording work. This particular B has and incredibly deep and lush Bass section, and is very even and powerful throughout the scale. The transition from Bass string to plain wire is extremely clean and even, with that familiar "Steinway Sound" that is expected in the middle of the piano. The 5th and 6th Octaves are clean with excellent sustain and no pinging notes that detract from the tone. The upper treble is clean, and projects evenly without requiring extra effort.
