For sale is one Ludwig LM411 Super Sensitive snare drum in very good condition. Serial number 594962 gives this drum a manufacturers date of 1968 making it 48 years old making this snare drum definitely vintage. Matching Ludwig tension rods and washers. The shell has some flaking above the center median ridge which travels around the center of the shell. There are also light scratches and pitting in some ares of the shell. I attempted to take as many pictures as possible of the shell to illuminate the defects. Both bearing edges spotless (frame #3). Both strainers work perfectly and drop the original vintage snares in unison (one snare is missing leaving 17 out of 18 total and there are some small scratches around the logo on one end of the snares). The red felt and muffler lever also work perfectly. Strainer guards are both super clean and free from dents. Top and bottom heads brand spankin' new Remo Ambassador.
